It all started with a dilemma: As a flexitarian or vegetarian who pays attention to her diet and species-appropriate animal husbandry, how can I feed my pets according to the same standards and with the same needs? And all this without having to cook it myself?
And it ended up with a vision: With a partially adapted approach, cultured meat technology is the perfect solution.

I've had dogs and cats since I was a child and admire their open-minded and honest nature.
But I find it extremely unfair that animals are slaughtered so I can feed my pets. There's even a name for it: the "pet owner's dilemma."
I also doubt whether pet food is truly healthy for my pets, despite the positive advertising messages.
However, I am convinced that many technologies have the power to change things for the better. Therefore, a few years ago, I began researching food technology with the goal of developing pet food that I can feed to my pets without guilt, and which is delicious, healthy, and nutritious - for my own pets and for pets around the world.
